Halo barked madly at the passing workers and other people trying to adopt. She snapped and growled. Bareing her teeth, she started to dig around. But no advil, the dirt was too packed in. Halo lay there, filthy and hungry. Her stomach growled and an idea hatched. This would also set a good example for the other dogs. Her body was set in a springing pasition. She saw another ruddy old dog in her cage, but she didn't care. She sat for what seemed an hour before her plan set in motion. Halo spotted a dim-witted two-legger giving out some food. She waited another 5 minutes and then.....the two-legged feeder opened her cage, then Halo sprung. She bit into his chest, and boucing off. She speed to an open window and leapt outwards. Free at last! was the first thing that came to mind.

Angel followed the given idea. She sprang when the dim witted two legger opened her cage.
She ran out the door following the 2 dogs. She wanted to be friends with them. Her eyes twinkled when she was outside. Fresh air, sunlight, water! There was a river a mile away.
Angel could see it because becaus everything was flat. "Air! Fresh!" She grinned. Her eyes
followed the rivers currents.
